Daxinganling
The Greater Khingan Range or Da Hinggan Range is a 1,200-kilometer-long (750 mi) volcanic mountain range in the Inner Mongolia region of Northeast China. It was originally called the Xianbei Mountains, which later became the name of the northern branch of the Donghu, the Xianbei.

Daxinganling is China's northernmost prefecture and one of its last great wilderness frontiers — a vast boreal forest covering over 82, 000 km² that stretches to the Russian border. It is home to the Oroqen people, one of China's smallest indigenous groups, whose reindeer-herding and hunting traditions survive here.
