Do you need to book Cuiping Mountain Scenic Area & Wuliangye Tourism Area in advance?
Yes — Cuiping Mountain Scenic Area & Wuliangye Tourism Area in Yibin runs on real-name advance reservation. A foreign passport works as the real-name ID. We have not found an official statement of when tickets release or a booking page we can link, so the practical route is your hotel front desk — and we say so rather than guess.

How a foreign visitor actually books it
Both are free-entry and reached by city bus or taxi within Cuiping District; bring your passport as ID. The Wuliangye site runs set opening hours (roughly 09:00–17:00) and the liquor-culture exhibits may be visited on a walk-up basis or via the company's own arrangements; no advance booking needed for general entry in normal periods.
What else to know
We link no official booking page here — these are free city attractions with no ticket of their own to book. Cuiping Mountain is Yibin's green city-centre hill (about 503 m), an evergreen ridge with the Zhenwu Mountain temple complex, a Nezha temple, the Qianfo Rock cliff carvings and the Zhao Yiman memorial hall, with walking paths up from town. The adjacent Wuliangye Tourism Area is an industrial-tourism site built around Yibin's claim to fame — Wuliangye baijiu, one of China's most famous liquors — preserving Ming- and Qing-era fermentation cellars and a liquor-culture museum alongside the landmark bottle-shaped building. Good half-day fillers in the city itself, between trips out to the Bamboo Sea and Li Zhuang.
If the official channel does not work
The two reliable fallbacks are your hotel front desk, which books these through domestic apps every day, and the on-site manual window where one still exists. What does not work is buying from someone who approaches you or from a marketplace listing: entry is real-name, so a ticket registered to another person’s ID will not admit you. The mechanics are in buying tickets the official way and booking without WeChat.
